Groby Scarecrow Competition 2023 Rules

Supported by Bradgate Rotary

RULES AND GUIDELINES

The most important rule is…

Make sure you enjoy yourselves!!

They aren’t really many rules as to how you build or design your scarecrow – eg. Straw, reusing or recycling old materials etc.

All we ask is that the main component be straw, otherwise it wouldn’t be a scarecrow.

Please try to enter into this year’s theme of Nursery Rhymes and please keep it polite and appropriate.

Anyone can enter our Groby Scarecrow Festival 2023,

Registration of scarecrows costs £5 per entrant at www.bradgaterotaryevents.co.uk or return completed a form including entry fee £5 in a sealed envelope marked Groby Scarecrow Festival 2022 by Thursday September 7th to the Stamford Arms, Groby.

PUBLIC VIEWING OF SCARECROWS

10am to 4pm, Sat 16th and Sun 17th September Scarecrows must displayed at the front of your property.

You agree to photographs being taken of your scarecrow and used online or press including our Social Media posts.

Bradgate Rotary Club will not be held responsible for any damage to Third Party property or people, caused by the creation or insecurity of scarecrows.
